I think it's so easy to be completely ignorant to the negative things that are going on constantly around us and often its a coping mechanism to retreat back to simplistic things to try to protect ourselves and be safe, but if we don't speak up about what we feel is wrong in our society nothing will ever change. The beauty of documentaries is that they enable us to see inside worlds other than our own and in this case they open our eyes to the mistreatment of innocent creatures
